Axonometric Rendering Techniques

To render your Axonometric Views:

  1. Make sure you have all the correct material colors inputted in the project.
  2. Test out the images by first rendering them in a draft setting to make sure the shadows look appropriate. To do this:
    1. Go to the View Tab and select “Render” from the Graphics Ribbon.
    2. Set the Quality to Medium
    3. Set output settings to a resolution of 75 DPI on Printer
    4. For Lighting, set the scheme to “Exterior: Sun Only” and start testing out different sun settings by changing the time of day and rendering until you get a shading scheme you like
    5. Set the Background Style to “Color” and set the color to “White”
    6. Render
  3. Once you have the settings you like, go the View Tab and select “Render in Cloud” from the Graphics Ribbon. Log into your Autodesk account and you’ll be able to get the best image quality at a fraction of the time.
