And Michael Hammontree has 3d-printed a sample from the taller section to confirm that printing time is now greatly reduced and should be in the 2-4 hour range total for each student.   See also GUIDE TO 3D PRINTING YOUR MODEL. ( thank you Michael ! )

MWFstudio:  
– Plan to finish this first pass at your new massing models by mid-class Wednesday (tomorrow).  See example at top of this post.
– Then combine your quadrant with the rest of your group in one SketchUp file and print out a plan and perspective for review tomorrow by end of day Wednesday.
– Final edits to your model scheduled for Friday after group coordination.
– Final SkUp model due (everyone) Friday at 3pm in Michael’s shared folder.

TTh studio:
– Plan to finish this first pass at your new massing models between now and Thursday at 12:30pm (homework).  See example at top of this post.
– Then combine your quadrant with the rest of your group in one SketchUp file and print out a plan and perspective for review Thursday as soon as possible.
– Final edits to your model scheduled for Thursday in class after group coordination.
– Final SkUp model due (everyone) Friday at 3pm in Michael’s shared folder.
