List of Finishing Touches

Hi all,
Things that came up today during Friday studio – finishing touches, for those of you with the stamina for it…  🙂

All drawings:
– Use ‘consistent colors’ including Views A+B.  (cover image is up to you).
– All general notes that you want your reader to notice quickly:  Use 1/8″ text.

Index:
– Be sure that the index is shifted over on your page to be at the right side edge of the sheet
(to be visible when flipping thru set).

Architecture Set:
– Include a Roof Plan
– Write ‘B’ on all balconies (1/16″ font).
– Indicate on Building Sections: program for each level (Retail / Lobby, Office, Residential, Parking).
– Write ‘Open’ or use an ‘X’ (1/8″text) to indicate all holes in floor that are not labeled.

Structural Set:
– Text size for beams/cols:  Use 1/32″ as a last resort (tiny) !  3/64 is better if it fits.
– Write ‘Lobby’, ‘Retail’, ‘Office’, ‘Residential’, Parking Structure…  in- or next-to each main building (all plans)…for viewers new to the project so they know what happens at each level / each building.
– Write ‘Open’ or use an ‘X’ (1/8″text) to indicate all holes in floor that are not labeled.

Mechanical Set:
– Write ‘B’ on all balconies (1/16″ font).
